Annual Member Meeting

The annual member meeting will be held February 7 at 10:00 am at the Panera Bread on Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. There is a small meeting room in the back of the restaurant.

Volunteer Opportunities

Do you have some spare time? Swing Des Moines is always looking for willing volunteers. Volunteering doesn't need to be a big time commitment, either. Though we don't turn down anyone looking to invest large quantities of time, we're also happy to have the help of those who want to give just an hour or two, as well.

What types of volunteers do we need?

• Photographers and Videographers to record various SDSM activities.
• Set up and Tear down at Jive Junction.
• Writing articles for The Swung Beat.
• Writing blog entries for our blog.
• Working at workshops - taking registrations, handling money, etc.
• Coordinating housing and transportation for larger workshops.
• Board members.
• Committee members:

• Marketing Coordinator
• Graphic Design

In addition to those jobs listed, we are always always open to any type of volunteer service. If you think you have a skill or talent that might be useful... we could probably use it!

Send us an email and we'll let you know what's available. You tell us what you want, and make arrangements to get the videos from us. Rental period is one month.

I need to renew my membership, how do I do that?
